One File with More users

On the school we use a agenda. It's a nice and handy agenda: (http://www.digita.com/tax.../taxorganiser/default.asp)
But the problem is that the file is being used by more then 1 one user. It's a shared agenda. They all can read the agenda, but the first who opend the agenda can also write the agenda.

- Is there a program who can fixed that a file can be read and write by more then one user
- Is there a program who can trace who is using the file from the server.
- Or is there another free agenda program which works better voor a shared agenda on the network

Thanks

I believe Lotus Organizer still has file sharing for calendars.  And of course, if you have Domino, Exchange, or GroupWise, then you have shared calendaring available.

I would also imagine you can use one of the free web-based "personal calendar" systems (Yaho has one), and have a shared login.  Problem is, users will be loged out of their regular logins on Yahoo, MSN, etc., when they log in for the shared calendar access, so you might want to fidn an obsuce calendar site.

that's the correct url. But we don't have lotus, domino, exchange or groupwise. We need a FREE agenda program, which can be use / write by more users.

a program who can fixed that a file can be read and write by more then one user.

If that all from above doesn't exsist or not work, is there a program which can trace who is using the program. So we can shut it down there, so it can be used by other users.

I don' think I've ever seen a free group schedulng program.  Lke I said, use a web-based calendar.
