I figured it out - it was actually an issue with this specific users Windows logon account - saved the .pst file and his data - made a new account - working OK now - but you responded with some useful info nontheless - points are yours &nbsp;:)

I have a user who runs XP Pro and uses Office XP. &nbsp;We do not have an exchange server - host POP 3 with a hosting provider. &nbsp;His Outlook will not start - not responding in Task Manager. &nbsp;I completely uninstalled Office XP and reinstalled it - I removed his .pst file - he is the only Outlook profile on this machine - still have the same thing - does anyone know what might cause this or how I may fix it?
