You can loook into IbuySpy project (just google ibuyspy),which is an ecommerce application, which wil give u a better idea.<br />
Personally what i wuld suggest is, do a series of steps one by one like creating a login page, check it against a database, then try to create a cookie at that page, then try to display stuff like items, from a database its rather broad. Just go through many things for each step.<br />

THis doesn't have to do with language itself, really, but I need to know a good place to start looking about how to design e-commerce, from secure design down to creating cookies and having user accounts in a database....
