schedule agent every one minute

I want to run an agent every 1 minute.I can shcedule the agent for a minimum of only 5 minutes.what should i do to schedule it every 1 minute?NotesTimer class does not seem to be of much use.

The agent checks in a folder every 1 minute and finds out if any documents have been added to the folder and if yes,then takes appropriate actions.

I've seen people frequently trigger an agent using a server job (written in C or so). Can't help you wint that.
I see two alternatives:
Run 5 copies of the agent; each every 5 minutes. Trigger the 1st at 01:00, the second at 01:01, the third at 01:02 etc. or:
Keep the agent running continuously. Make it loop to the active part when its time to do so, otherwise keep it in a waiting loop.
