Parsing XMLString

How to convert  a String to XML object and parse the XML object ?
Actually I pass the XML as String parameter to another servlet but I could not convert the String to XML object in the receiving servlet since SAX,ECS,JAXP doesnt allow to parse a String object.

Use a StreamSource with a StringReader

Example of How to convert the String to XML object and parse the xml object.  Actually I pass the XML as String parameter and then I want to get a value for a particular attribute.
