can anybody give me some sample source code or informaton for creating a stand alone web browser. i really don't want to make an IE clone. all, and any, information will help. thanks

Download the Indy examples. I believe a webbrowser is part of these demos. Visit http://www.nevrona.com/indy for more information.

The problem won't be to retrieve the webpages from a server, btw. That's the easy part, actually. You'll need some component that will display the retrieved page in a nice form to the user. And preferably not in it's raw form. I do know that the TWebBrowser component can be put in your application but hey, that's cheating! That component happens to be a main part of Internet Explorer! :-)
