ColdFusion  experts,

At the moment I write this message, we have 1017 open questions in this area and the oldest ones are from July 2000. So it is high time to close all these old questions.

So we search experts that:
- experts in this area just to be sure you are familiar with the questions you will have to close
- active in the last 3 months - you can be great expert but if in the last 3 months you have at all 10 comments that means you have no time...
- have some time and want to help.

If you fit in the above, please read:

http://www.experts-exchange.com/help.jsp#hs7

If after reading it, you are still interested in helping please post here and I will assign you a range to work on.
If you have any questions, please ask.

Thank you very much for the help.

CFDevHead - I noticed that you are using the 7 day script - see AnnieMod's post a little higher in this thread about how that has changed to 4 days.

Okay that range is done (3/2002 - 9/2002) (at least I have made recommendations for the whole range - they will actually gfet cleaned during this week).

If you would like I can start looking at another range...

If you want I can just start cleaning questions as time permits of the really old questions working my way from the end and keeping an eye out here to see if you specifically assign a range to someone else and then if so I'll skip that range.

Let me know....

Got it.

And I noticed the Admin comment ability this morning.  (Boy am I glad it defaults to regular comment though - since I didn't notice until after I had placed a few comments ;o)

A quick question - I f I discover a post that should be removed such as a person advertising thier company "Comtact my - my company XXX does this.  Here is our website XXXX" should I post that to comunity support?

I bet that makes it cleaner for the mods to finalize too...

Well that range is done.

I have a few (around 10) left that i have pinged that I still need to make recommendations on from the previous range, but otherwise it is done (and I want to give the participants another day or so to respond).  Do you want me to start working Jan-March of 2004?  Since they are more recent I woud want to ping most of them before recommending since the participants may still be active and able to offer suggestions.

I don't know that we need to clean much beyond that at this point.

Thanks.

You could probably close this question until the TA gets to the point that it needs a new set of volunteers and it may be better at that point to post a new question anyway as it would appear at the top of the list for a few days....

But up to you :o)

I just looked and the earliest I see is 6/10/2004.

And even looking at the last two on the list there are comments as recent as September 20th in those threads.

I will re-reivew each of them anyway if they are past teh 21 days and get new recommendations for them. :o)

Oh okay.

Well anyway I went to all of the early ones and found 10 that I had not made recommendations on and so did so.  All the rest I either have recommendations on or have pinged in the last week or so.

Hope taht helps.
