Autocad R14 ACADPREFIX

Is any way to set the ACADPREFIX variable once I've loaded the program. I'm using ACAD R14. This is a read only variable, so it can't be changed with the Setvar command.

ACADPREFIX:  Lists the full directory path specified by the ACAD environment variable.

I'm afraid as you said it is Read Only so there is no way to change it.
