Display Card and Win2K Booting problem

I have the display card of Diamond multimedia System make. I installed
Win2K on my machine. With this display card my system doesn't boot. But at the same time i am able to boot Win2K in VGA mode with same display card also it properly boots in win98 system. If anyone has any idea what could be the problem please let me know. Thanks

You need to get some drivers for it.

In safe mode, remove the drivers for the VGA card and then when normal mode loads install the windows 2000 drivers.

You can also get into Normal mode by putting a /basevga switch in the c:\boot.ini file next to the /fastdetect switch.
