I have been using the HP d125xi with the HP network plug-in device for about four months, with 3 PCs using it ok til now. Power went off two weeks ago (whole area) and when all came back up HP gave out error messages to each PC that it could not be found. Seems the IP address would not re-set itself. Spent a lot of time with HP tech support and finally figured out how to set the address for the printer as fixed (what I thought would be permanent). Now two weeks later (with no power outages or network crashes) that same error message has come back. What gives? Everything was fine until about ten minutes ago...no software changes, no hardware changes, network still up and running fine. All machines using WinXP.
