Im a newbie to the flash arena and was wondering if anyone knew of any GREAT resources to use to learn everything from the basics to advanced scripting, etc.

have look at the following sites:

www.flashkit.com  - a huge site with loads of samples and tutorials
www.actionscript-toolbox.com -very good site on explanation and samples

I'm new to flash too, a good place that i found for the basics is
