how to create a MSI file of a windows 2000 CD?!

hello,

I would like to know if its possible to make an .MSI file out of a windows 2000 CD for clean install, or if the only way to do it is which a 'model' machine and get a software to create the package (.msi)

You can not install Windows 2000 as an MSI.  

MSI packages are used to install applications.

So far as I'm aware, you can not create a .MSI of the entire windows 2000 CD.  I can't see any way to do it!

thank you. we deployed windows 2000 using an unnatended install, and applications using .msi files.
