implement RS232/485 serial communication in C#

If I am mistaken, .NET framework does not have serial communications support.

You may write a program that communicates through a serial port using the MSComm OCX. However, it is only included with VB in Visual Studio 6

Does anyone have any idea of writing a program in C# to do two way communication over the serial port? Thanks

I had a discussion with one of my friends about the posibility of writing C# programs to drive embeded devices. You gave us some idea.
