ERROR while Inserting a record In pervasive ...Database

Hi,,

When I am trying to Insert a record Into a table In Pervasive I am getting the following error


ODBC Error.SqlState=s1000,native Error Code=-4997
The application  Encontered an  I/O Error (Btrieve Error 2)


Is there anyway to slove this Problem..or a work Around..

and why did this error occur..

A status 2 indicates a corrupt file.  Make sure that you are fully patched and rebuild the data file.
