How to use vc++ dll using vb program

Dear Sir,

1. I purchase finger print software. (Biothentic Software). this software have some dll, header in Vc++ language. I want to access this dll through vb program. i try many way so i didn't get any way. so. i need help from you. (How to call this dll and how to use from tthese function from my application using vb). I try to insert from project ==> reference menu, but it's gave error can't insert.
Ex:
In Binthentic software manual mention this function
BIOSCARD_APPLICATION
Long BioSCard_SelectApplication(IN SCARDHANDLE  hCard,IN LPBYTE PbAid,IN DWORD OBAidLength)
This above function, how i use from visual basic.


2. I have one application developed from visual basic and i make it exe also. this exe i want to initialise when windows started( ie. When i enter windows password immediately my application run. after that start menu come). please give this help
