Windows Installed File Types

I'd like to be able to get a list of all file types installed/registered on the PC.

This is very easy.

Go to the registry, looking in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.

You wil see the list of extensions.
When you open one of those keys, you'll see the
description of the key and from there you can
open other subkeys in the same root and you'll
have your list.
