How do you add new jar files (classes) to existing application jars?

I have an application class which will obtain the list of new jars that are added to the server by reading a configuration file. How do I actually run them? One option I have is use class loader. Are there any other options? (You can assume that each jar file represents a class and it has a main method)

Thanks.

The class loader is responsible for loading classes so I'd say it is your only option. There will at least have to be a classloader involved somewhere.

Objects,

Do you have more information on Java Extensions? If so, can you point me to some articles or links?

Thanks.
