I am developing a flash application using Flash Remoting, however there are some texts retrieved from Oracle database(supports Unicode data) that on arriving to the swf flash cannot interperet. It displays characters in swf as it is stored in the database.

Could anyone please suggest any solution.
Thanks in advance.

LoadVars.load(url) method helps to load data from the specified url.
For eg :
 var user= new LoadVars();
 user.load("http://....");
 This downloads variables from the specified URL, parses the variable data, and places the resulting variables into user.

What you have to make sure is that the variables you are passing to flash are in the correct code. Now in php I use the following line ot encode the variable string to a format that Flash understands:

$text = utf8_encode($text);

I don't know what command to use for ASP, but there should be something similar which encodes the text to a format that flash will recognize correctly.
