Can't click on web links

Using windows 200 Pro
Internet Explorer V6

I cannot click on links in web pages, this happens randomly (at least to me) some links on pages work, while others do not. I have no idea why as i have installed nothing lately and this just started about a week ago.

When i rtight click on a link and click 'open in new window' nothing happens. Sometimes i get an error 'Line 24 . Error: Object is not connected to server' Or 'Line 183 Error: The callee (server [not application]) is not available and disappeared;all connections are invalid. The call did not execute.'
This sound like i have a trojan to anyone? Maybe a keylogger that is messing with me?

Thanks for any help

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You Cannot Open New Internet Explorer Window or Nothing Happens After You Click a Link
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

Basically what it says in that link is this

1 Quit all programs that are running.
2 Click Start, and then click Run.
3 Type regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4 When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

Shdocvw.dll
Msjava.dll
Actxprxy.dll
Oleaut32.dll
Mshtml.dll
Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll

Oleaut32.dll

If the problem is still not resolved, verify that the following registry values are present and correct:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
Name: (Default)
Value: IDispatch
