As you found out you have CR.Net. &nbsp;A quick check of the CR web site doesn't shed any light on your problem &nbsp;You may need to upgrade to CR9.<br />

I am using crystal with &nbsp;ASP.NET 2003 ( This is crystal 9.0 , I believe ). I run a crystal report using the crystal viewer control, then export into Excel ( Excel 2000 ), using the export icon . As some of the columns are created as Merged cells, Excel will not sort them. <br />

I understand that this problem was raised in this forum but the advice was to upgrade to Crystal 9.0. ( which I am using ) &nbsp;- but I still have this problem - is this a known limitation, is there a workaround ?<br />

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information.
