How i encrypt my MSaccess database , i'm using ADO and Delphi 6 ENT

Hi all,

i'm using a Delphi 6 Ent, i have an application that uses TADOConnection with MSAccess database, i want to be sure that my data is encrypted, i have "Encrypt Database=True" in my connection string but i want to know for sure that my database is encrypted.Please explain to me how can i be sure that i INSERT data in my databse encrypted and how can i check that, my database is passwrod protected.

I follow this procedure (there may be others):

1) Open database for exclusive use in Access.
2) Use Tools/Security/Set Database Password to assign a password. I think the password is used as the encryption key, but am not sure.
3) Close the database
4) Use Tools/Security/Encrypt to encrypt the database
5) For my purposes, I also make the .mdb file readonly.
6) Supply the password when you connect (OnPassword event, PromptForPassword = True)

After this I can no longer see the data in my .mdb file with a binary browser, so I guess it is really encrypted. My program doesn't seem any slower when using the encrypted version.
