Outlook 2003; RPC over HTTP(s) not available

Hello there...

I've got exchange 2003 setup on a windows server 2003 box with RPC overy HTTP installed on the server.

I have Outlook 2003 installed on a windows XP SP1 box with all the updates installed.

For the life of me, I can't get the "Exchange over the internet" connection settings to even show up. They aren't even there but grey'd out, they just aren't there at all.

I've even tried using the ORK custom installation wizard to force the option to be there, and I've also tried putting the EnableRPCTunnelingUI DWORD registry key into the registry. Any ideas out there?

Two possible issues: 1) the exchange server 2003 installation on win2k3 box is a pre-release demo that will expire in 38 days. Was originally a 120 day demo. I just bought the licensed release version, but have not installed it yet. The outlook 2003 I have on my XP box is from that exchange server 2003 CD set.

2) The XP box with outlook 2003 is not activated yet. I'm waiting for two licenses I bought to come in before I activate this copy.

Could either of those facters play a role in hiding the "Connect to exchange over the internet" UI?
