recording video of you playing Halo
Hello all, please forgive me if there is a more appropriate section for this question, but I am new and not sure where to put in a question like this.
I have seen people with good in game footage of people playing games, and doing things on their computer, such as for example, a video of someone opening a folder, or opening Word, in tutorials.
What I would like to do, is with the aid of a program, or whatever I can, no Camera if possible, is record my play in Halo: Combat Evolved, so I can make videos of people playing, shooting, e.t.c. so I can edit them with my Pinnacle 8. Is this possible to do, and how would I do it? If any one wants me to be more descriptive, I will, but I hope I have explained it clearly. Thanks for any help.

I assume youre on an XBox? Got video out ports? Hook those up through a VCR and hit record. You could also run it through a digital camera and hook it up via firewire to your computer. Get better quality that way.

install that now what it will do is , it will change your video to bink video.
as you must have seen lots of bink video news on website. this is new technology and it it
realy realy good for gaming people. try to find out bink video for half life 2.

After trying out both, BINK tools seemed too hard to use, although it looks the better program. I went for Weeds answer, as I saw results, although it didn't work for DIVX, but another AVI player I had. Thank you all for your help :)
