Hi,

Is there any commercial solution for it? I’d be interested in a CDwriter component. :)

The only solution I know is to use the latest Nero burner. It is a COM server application and has detailed API documentation. Delphi can build wrapper components for its published classes. (Component / Import AciveX control);

I found severel commercial  components for CD writing on the internet. :)

Here is one which is free, but works only on XP.

http://www.bayden.com/delphi/cdburner.htm

It is a small component to use use the built in CD-writer. The problem with it is that the files must be copied to a staging area first.
