Just trying to get an opinion.  I have four forums going up - & the people have chose invision & phpbb.  It seems Invision is a lot easier to work with - has more things for the Admin @ least :) Any preferences / recommendations for the two boards?

Thanks!

I think he means nethier are good.

However i do not agree with him. When compared to each other Invision is by far the better. It has a large ammount of templates available and a massive ammount of mods (some whihc can do amazing things) most of them are available here:

http://www.ibplanet.com/

As for other benefits Invision was designed with security and speed in mind. As you said the admin panel has alot more features but also so does the user. Also ive always though invision looked alot nicer than phpBB. Basicly until the next versin of phpBB comes out invision is the clear winner then (if phpBB includes everything they promise they will) it will probably be just a matter of preference. however the next invision will also probaby be out by then and who knows what new features that will have?

Also check out ipDynamicLite with invision version 1.2 its a mod that comes bundled with the download and offers a nice homeapge for your forum.
