Looking for ArcMap VBA code examples

Hi everyone,

I'm going to try to make a custom solution for work.  I want to allow users to get information out of our database using ArcMap as an interface.  I want to be able to derive coordinates so that I can run queries from our database.  I can do the database part, but I am unfamiliar with ArcMap VBA.

I am familiar with VBA in other applications, but not familiar with ArcMap's objects, and how to use them.  If you have any code snippets in your own projects, or know of some good ones out there on the web, I'd certainly be interested in seeing them.

Any code example will do, but this is what I'm trying to do:

1) derive the coordinates from the current view, current layer, current project.
2) Switch projection systems.
3) Find boundaries of polygons.

These things will really help me out, but I'll take anything.

Thanks a bunch,

Greg H.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here is one of the better forums for ArcView VBA.   Since examples and support for Arcview VBA is scarce, I would recommend you utiilize this type of forum.  This site is also a valuable resource for other ESRI topics as well.

Hope this helps,
