MRP Table problem

In sap 4.7 when i am doing mrp for a material through MD41 and MD02 the mdkp table is only getting updated but i cannot see any entry for the corresponding number of mrp table in MDTB .i.e MDTB table is not getting updated.
In 4.0 B after doing MD41 and MD02 both the tables MDKP and MDTb use to get update but here it doesnt.

kindly help me wth the solution..

Don't have a 4.7 system available to me yet, but you can do a SQL trace (ST05) to see exactly what is happening.
