I got this message when I choose to edit HTML (ASP) in Word (using the IE command - edit with ...
Means - I browse the page with IE (it is an asp page from local IIS server), then I click the W to edit with WORD, then this message is showing on and off.
The HTML file contains LINK tags to css filess, IMG tags etc..
The error says it cannot get the files (the css file for instance).
I tried to figure out when it shows and when not :
On win 98 office2K (with sp3) it shows only after opening some files.
On win 2K with all SPs it never shows.
I think that it has to do with caching or proxy or some thing because when the message shows it points to missing file (the css file) that sure exist in the location.
One importan thing - after the message is shown, it will show again on and on untill reboot is done and then again I will be able to edit files 4 or 5 times untill the message come again.
I tried all searches in microsoft and other searches/
