Contacts are not there when i go to send a massage

i just went from oulook express to outlook xp my address book was transferd but now when i go to send an email and i click on TO: my contacs are not there. how do i get the contacs to link up when i go send a message because when i'm just looking in my folder i see them

Comment Utility
Tools, Email Accounts, View or Change Existing Address Books.
Select the Outlook Address Book and click Remove (if it's even there)
Click Add
Choose Additional Address Books
Select the Outlook Address Book
Click Finish
Close and reopen Outlook.
