Hi,

I cannot access any of my websites (on IIS5.0) - it always asks for a network password. I can view the web by just clicking several times on Ok (no need to fill out anything).
I tried to set: home directory, directory security but it does not work.

How it COULD happen:

1) I had everything set ok, but I was messing with one directory security and one file security - I may have clicked on something wrong.

2) could that be in Local users settings ? (I was messing with that too)

What should I do ?

Thank you in advance for any idea.

Hi jbmd,
Open the IIS admin (under admin toold on the server) console and ensure read is enabled for the everyone group.

Cheers!

I solved the problem:

I had to reinstall IIS
I reinstall PHP
I restored the IIS

and it immediately worked.

so what should I do to drop the question and keep the points ?
