 I am in a situation where I have to use Crystal Reports 9, to generate reports, but those reports ( which are primarily gantt charts ) are to be rendered onto the browser using jsp's. The jsp, would have parameters which the user selects ( say the region and the customer whose sales over a particular quarter needs to be analysed ), and these user selection values are going to be parameters to the sql which the crystal reports should run and based on that generate the chart. I am calling for help from anyone who knows how to integrate crystal reports with jsp. Is there any Java API for Crystal Reports, by which I can pass in the parameters to the sql based on which CR would generate the required report ( the graph ). <br />
Note: we are using Weblogic Express as our AppServer.<br />

Java API for Crystal Reports 9

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
