Hi

  I have a reference set to msxml4.0 in my project.
I have  this and msxml2.0 registered in my machine.

The following code works fine, but if I unregister 2.0
it does not.

Could someone advice me on how  I could use 4.0.
 thanx

Set XMLDoc = New DOMDocument

Try this:

Private Function IPtoHost(ByVal IPstr As String) As String
Try
   Dim dns As System.Net.Dns
   Dim Host As New System.Net.IPHostEntry()
   Host = dns.GetHostByAddress(IPstr)
   IPtoHost = Host.HostName
Catch err As Exception
   MsgBox(err.Message)
End Try
End Function
