restoring the primary Domain Controller

hello All,

my primary DC has been attached by virus !, i formatted this one and re-installed windwows 2000 server ! now my question is , how  can i restore this server to become again the Primary DC from my second DC? (both primary and second DC are running windwows 2000 server)

In Windows 2000's AD there is no such a thing as PRIMARY or SECONDARY DC.  There is only DC.  Simply use DCPROMO and make this machine a domain controller for the existing domain.
