NT4 SBS.  Exchange 5.5.  Veritas Backup Exec 7.3.  Had to restore the Exchange information Store from bkup.  Backup ran fine 100% complete.  Now cannot start the information store my app log has event 1081 (Unable to recover the database because error 0xc8000713 occurred after a restore operation) plus others.  Have tried the isinteg and eseutil commands and im still back at square one.  I am logged on as admin.

Can anyone help?...I really dont want to have to install again!

the second link is more appropriate to your case

simply, you need to delete the following registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\RestoreInProgress

you do this by running regedit, then locate the key and delete it
