Use of vbScript in Coldfusion

I am trying to use vbScript in a .cfm page, although it does not seem to work.  I assumed since vbSCript was a client side language and independent of the IIS web service that there would be no problem??

I need an example of how to use a vbscript sub in a coldfusion page.
