I desperately need to develop a small visual basic application that monitors a folder for incoming files (Multi-Page TIFF Images). When one or more arrive, I need to have a small method or function to take the image and crop it down to a certain size. I can easily write most all of this application with the exception of the image modification function. I would love to know how to take a TIFF image file in vb code and physically crop about 1/2 inch from the top of it. Please advise on how to accomplish this. If you need more information about this or what I am trying to accomplish, let me know.<br />

Visual Application to modify TIFF images..PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.
