can anybody give me vb code using ConfigDSN. I'm working in Windows'98 environment with MS-Access 2000 as backend

i understand that you want your program to create a new dsn connection or modify and existing one.
if so,
from the project menu go to "References" and add the following reference library:
"ODBC Driver & Data Source Name Functions"
then to create a new DSN do the following:

Dim odbc As New ODBCTool.Dsn
odbc.CreateDSN ......
fill the create DSN with the corresponding arguments
pls note that the access driver name is "MS ACCESS"
