Background of the situation:
Our company is trying to use Crystal Reports for creating reports using data from Lawson. We are using the Enterprise Reporting add-on for Crystal Reports that provides connectivity to the Lawson Information Object Service. This enterprise reporting piece installs OLE DB connectivity to Lawson. We are then trying to use Query Builder to connect to Lawson using this OLE DB connection.

Overview of the problem:
When we try to connect to Lawson via the Query builder we are getting the following error from Crystal reports after specifying the web server, the default product line and the user and password:

>>>
Logon failed.
Details: ADO Error Code: 0x80040e4d
Source: Data Source
Description: No Data Area has been specified

|5|-2147217843|80040e4d|Data Source|IDBInitialize.cpp|107|-1|-1|-1||
Native Error: 5
>>>

Depending on the choice of user we get a slightly different error:
>>>
Logon failed.
Details: ADO Error Code: 0x80004005
Description: IOS command returned no data

|153|-2147467259|80004005||LoganDvr.cpp|680|-1|-1|-1||
Native Error: 153
>>>

Additional environment information:
The version for Crystal Reports is 9.0 and the Lawson version is 7.3.3.0 with installed IOS service. We have also updated the crdb_ado.dll file to the latest available version.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated !
