Hi, I have passed a Microsoft 70-270 Exam. I registered the exam through the testing centre directly as they had a discount. But when I register, they require my home address but no email address is given to them.

But what should I do now in order to receive the MCP Certificate? Should I just wait for the certicate in my mailbox or Do I need to register with Microsoft first?

I am given the Candidate ID and Registration number on the score report. What is the use of them and suppose I want to become MCSE, how can I "link" up all my seven passing score reports together?

Also, how can I get access to https://partnering.one.microsoft.com. I failed to register with them.

Thanks very much in advance.

PS: I took my exam in Hong Kong.

No you dont have to do anything. Your certificate will come by mail. I've my MCSE so I know about this. It might take little longer to reach hong kong if your mailing address is in HK. It takes around 20 days in US after the date of exam.

Usually you should get an email from Microsoft regarding your MCP ID and your temp password. Since you haven't given the email to the test provider, what you can do is to call the test provider or rather your test center and give your email address. Usually the test providers are Prometric or VUE worldwide. So if you have a toll free number, call them and update your information to have the email address in it.

Your MCP ID is required to access MCP secure site on MS site. (that is partner website, as mentioned by you) YOu cannot access the site otherwise. You will have to wait for ur MCP id and temp password.

here is the link:

http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcpmembersite.asp

click on MCP member site. You will need to have the .NET passport like ur hotmail or msn account to access this. First time you login, you will be asked your MCP ID number.

First thing first, call the test provider and get your email address in place, so that you can receive your MCP id and temp password.

Hope it helps you.
