How to shutdown Siemens MC35 properly

Hello

I have a Siemens MC35 Terminal modem which I use for GPRS data transfer. But how do I make a shotdown properly?
I tried some different methods, but I am stille able to ping the machine with the Siemens MC35.
Anyone have a solution?

If you mean shutdown the link, then +++, ATH<cr> should do it.  To switch the modem OFF, send AT^SMSO.
