Norton Internet Security 2004 uninstall

I'm unable to uninstall because it tells me I'm not logged in as administrator.  Unfortunately, the functionality within the program allowing me to do this is no longer active on the screen.  Their are normally icons allowing me to start or stop the security and other features of the product, which are not on the screen either.

I agree with sunray_2003: You have to logon to Windows as administrator to uninstall software.

Yes, logged in as Admin.  Sorry to have left that out.  Rnis is ONLY for v2003 and earlier.  The info in that link specifically mentions problems if you attempt to use it with 2004.

I have resolved the issue by utilizing msconfig and disabling all Symnatec services.  This allowed me to uninstall and somehow magically on the reinstall the program worked the way it is supposed to.
