This is a really good site for JavaScript.  It has many functioning examples and the code used to generate them is shown so you can copy it :-)

There is a dropdown box called "Browse Doc JavaScript's Tip of the Day Archive:" about 1/3 or the way down the page.  Select "Frames" from that.  Further searching is possible from there.
