How do i know whether ActiveX control is disabled

My ActiveX control, CAxCtrl derived from Cwnd is Disabled. How do i know, it disabled state from the Client application..

CWnd* p_wnd;
---
---
P_wnd->IsWindowDisabled()

   is always returing TRUE, though the control is Disabled.  
where pWnd is pointer is assigend with pointer to ActiveX control..

Pls help..
