CAN NOT CONNET WITH VPN TO SQL DATABASE

I INSTALLED A VPN ROUTER ON BOTH SIDES BOTH WITH STATIC IP'S. I CAN SEE ALL THE FILES FINE, I CAN OPEN ACCESS, WORD FILES, ETC. HOWEVER, WHEN I TRY TO RUN OUR SOFTWARE THAT USES A SQL DATABASE, I GET AN ERROR THAT IT CAN NIT FIND THE  SQL DATABASE. WHAT CAN I DO?

Make sure your ODBC connector is set to use TCP/IP...
