I am not able to acess servlets in tomcat 4.0.6 from internet but can access in intranet

I am running Tomcat 4.0.6 on Linux.I have servlets in
/webapps/Dicom/webinf/classes

i have modified server.xml and web.xml in webinf directory.

I am able to make to work perfectly in INtranet,but iam not able to acess ina internet.

My port 8080 is open ,i am able to see index page of tomcat from the internet public ip .Unable to figure out the problem .

The error given is Error 500,internal servlet error but no error in intranet !!!
somebody help
