Does anyone know what the RegKey is for Flash Player?  I'm writing something to be able to tell if Flash Player version x is installed....

are you using an HTML editor like Dreamweaver?  If so, just set up a new html page, and use the detection kit in the splash page.  There are directions included with the detection kit.

Ah,

Maybe it would be better to just include the Current Flash Player in the prog, and execute that first at runtime.  I don't know the first thing about vb.net, but the detection kit would require an internet connection.

Actually, I think the RegKey is this:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}

In VB.NET there is a place you can check run other programs, but it doesn't do it till after you run your regular program.  But there is a place you can check for a registry entry to see if it is loaded.  I haven't tried this key yet, but it's suppose to be the flash key.
