Cannot display inbox

Hi

We have a mail server and some client machines. There is a problem with one of the clients.

When we click on inbox it says (may not be word for word)  "Cannot display the folder inbox"

All other folders can be displayed fine.

Thanks
Paul

That error is "Unable to display the folder"

I can see Inbox(7) to the left ... meaning that there are 7 unread messages

Any ideas?
Thanks

Greetings, amoran!

There may be a program interferring with the operation of Outlook.  Temporarily disable background programs one at a time to find the culprit, including spam blocker, ad-blocker, email anti-virus, and firewall.

If no joy, do a repair or reinstall of Outlook.
