DFS Links

all of my WinXP and Win2000 users can connect to DFS links using FQDN syntax such as: \\DFS.MyCompany.Com\PublicFiles, however, my Win98 and WinNT users cannot connect with this syntax. What might be the problem? How do I fix it?

the updated Active Directory Client Extensions must be installed for the respective client platforms.
