Hi,
I'm making a windows service. I'm using Delphi 7 Studio running w2k.

I have a basic service loaded and running/started. I have made a systray application from where I would like to interact with my service.

How to do? It would be nice with some small code examples.

Thanks in advance

for me the best way is to use TCP communication
this way you can also control your service remotely

simply put a TCP server component on your service module and handle the requests
from the client app just make calls to your service
if you'll have lots of communication with lots of different actions I suggest you use RemObjects - www.remobjects.com
has features such as compression, encryption, different transport mechanisms, RPC, ..

later I'll dig up some code from an older project and post it (using Indy) :)
