So money 2000 worked fine in windows 98

Now did you upgrade the system to windows 2000 or you installed money 2000 in a windows 2000 machine separetely

Suspect it could be license issue

Do you have SP3 or SP4 on your windows 2000. Try in Sp3

When you say "this PC" , I mean this machine has only windows 2000 and a separate machine compared to windows 98

Are you using the same money 2000 CD for this too ?

Check that your regional configuration settings are the same as those saved on the Win98 system especially date and currency formats.  If all esle fails you may have to export the file from the installation on 98 and then copy and import it into Win 2000.

Incidentally the Knowledge Base page (which also contains this info) is OK but if you have a firewall installed MS may not be able to identify you and shut you out.  You should be able to view the page with your firewall off or by changing your settings to treat microsoft sites as "friendly" (now there's a thought ..!)

I export all accounts and imort them in new money file on WIN 2000.
problem is that you can export only accounts not Bills or categories & Payees.
categories & Payees he make from accounts and he put some of them but not all, so you must write your self.
All of Bills I write manualy.
